I grew up watching my father create silver hollowware. I was fascinated by the craft and that is why I chose to work for Georg Jensen (Stella).

The best part about working for Georg Jensen is working with beautiful products on an everyday basis. Being passionate about our designs makes everything else a lot easier, whether it is talking about our jewellery or working with our Home products online, it never has to be forced and always comes naturally. Being half Danish, Georg Jensen has always had a role in my life. Whether it is the candle holders in our family home, the Grape collection that my mother always wears loyally, or the cutlery that was given to me when I moved out for the first time, Georg Jensen has always been there. Being able to work for GJ and tell those stories gives me a connection to home, and a pride in representing part of our heritage as Danes.

I like that I have a lot of different tasks, the days are never identical. I have the customer relations through the telephone and mails, together with the normal back office assignments. One of “my” customers is the Danish Royal family, and I have been so lucky to be invited to the Queen`s Christmas party for business relations. Besides all this, I am extremely lucky to have fantastic colleagues and the Flagship store in Copenhagen is beautiful. During my time of study, I worked as an assistant in the summer holidays, and the store manager in Georg Jensen called me, and asked if I would be interested. I said yes but only temporary. I never regretted it and on the 1st of April 2019 I celebrated my 25th anniversary. I just love my place of work.
